Modifying a node's tags

  1. Go to: /admin/content/node2.  This is a SECRET page to administer content.  It allows more functionality than the normal /admin/content/node page.
  2. From the filter options, select your filter options.
    • In this case, content type > IMAGE.
    • Also, select "Races by Event" (I can see from the list that this is how you have tagged the problem images).
    • You can also filter by 'Author'.  I did this since you did not tag all of these images 'Race by Event'.  Some had no tag.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the nodes you want to modify.  To select all visible, check the box at the top of the table.
  4. From the 'Bulk Operations' drop-down, select what you want to do.
    • In this case, select 'Modify node taxonomy terms'
    • Click execute
  5. 'Modify node taxonomy terms' options:
    • You have four options, pick carefully!
      • If a node has more than one tag, you don't necessarily want to replace all of them.  The options explain what they do.
      • (note: a "vocabulary" is a unique set of 'tags' and one node can have tags from multiple vocabularies.  Generally, your site does not do this, but it can).
    • You will only see vocabularies which are applicable to the node type you have selected (image gallery for images, etc.)
    • In this case, we want to "REPLACE existing terms with selected ones", since this is a trick to HIDE these images from the gallery.
    • From the vocabulary option, select "Zlogos".  This hides them from the image gallery, but makes them available to post.
    • Execute and confirm.
