Founded in 1994 by Station L Rowing Club's Kathy Frederick, Row for the Cure® takes place on the Willamette River. We are proud to announce that participation in our 2010 event almost doubled as a result of increased participation by our Dragon Boat community. Since its inception, the annual rowing, dragon boat and canoe/kayak regatta has raised almost $200,000 for the Oregon and SW Washington affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease.
